Rajasthan NEET PG counselling 2026: what the 2025 rounds looked like
Rajasthan's state NEET PG (MD/MS) counselling for 2026 has not started yet. While you wait, here is exactly how far Rajasthan's own 2025-26 state counselling went: 3,281 state-quota allotments across 49 colleges, round by round, from Rajasthan's own published allotment lists. Last updated 2026-10-06.

- State counselling authorities for state-quota data (Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and 18 other states) — see each state's own guide for its specific source links and retrieval dates.
Method, in short: for each branch, round and category we take the highest All India rank among candidates actually allotted a government (All India quota) seat — that is the round's "closing rank" or "last seat". The "typical college" is the median closing rank across government colleges in that round. University-quota seats (DU, BHU, AMU and similar, reserved for their own graduates), deemed-university seats and DNB seats are counted separately and never mixed into the government-seat numbers above. Rounds included: Round 1 through the stray vacancy round, for every published category (Open, OBC, EWS, SC, ST). Candidates with no AIR printed in a source document, or quota types specific to one state with no MCC equivalent, are excluded rather than estimated.

Who is eligible
- Institutional preference, not residence: for 50% of government-college and 50% of private-college MD/MS seats, only candidates with an MBBS from a college situated in Rajasthan are eligible. The remaining 50% of private-college seats are open to any NEET PG qualified candidate with an MBBS from anywhere in India.
- This institutional-preference rule applies through Round 3. The stray vacancy round drops it: any seat still vacant after Round 3 is opened to candidates without a Rajasthan MBBS.
- 50% of Post-MBBS Diploma and Post-MBBS DNB seats are reserved for in-service candidates already serving under the Government of Rajasthan.
Honest limits of this data
- The Round 3 list used on this page prints the student's own category, not the seat's reserved category, so Round 3 category-wise closing ranks are not shown separately here.
- MBC (a Rajasthan-specific category with no MCC equivalent) rows are excluded from these branch-level numbers.
- In-service (bonus-mark) ranks are shown separately from regular Open/OBC/EWS/SC/ST ranks, since bonus marks make them not directly comparable.
