Is rank 2,000 enough for a government seat?
23 of 23 branches had at least one government seat for General/Open at or after this rank in 2025, counting all rounds. DNB and deemed seats add more options.
Source: MCC NEET PG 2025 allotment lists (Round 1, 2, 3 and stray vacancy), government MD/MS seats in the All India quota (university quotas such as DU, BHU and AMU are left out: they are only for their own graduates).
